Infuse armor for NF char to do WiK - Guild Wars Forums

Do i really have to go ironmines mission to infuse my armor? I dont have that on my map, im in sanctum cay, no drognars forge either on map.

Do i really need runner to drogs and do all that shit to do War in kryta missions?

This seems really boring to me as i have played from launch and have really seen the game through and through.

Also embark beach doesnt let me go places i havent been in before?

While it is possible to do WiK without the infusion, it's alot harder and you cant do much against any mursaat/jade enemies without near instant death.
You don't have to do iron mines for infusing armor, there are a few other missions you can do it in, but they are further in the game then the iron mines.
Infusion of armro can be done in:
Iron mines of moladune
Ring of fire
Abbadons mouth
Mineral springs (an area near granite citadel, not a mission like the rest)

And for the other question, it's correct that embark doesn't let you go anywhere you haven't been yet. That is how it was intended to be. It was supposed to make it easier to find a group of players, not to be a shortcut for people who are unwilling to go to places on their own.

If your a NF character with heroes you dont need a runner to droks. Its easier just to go to mineral springs to get infused like Matirion said.
But why the hurry?

Sometimes you like to skip parts of the game and in this case its possible. Buy a runner if there is one available. But its also possible to start from Lions arch with 5 and later 8 heroes and fight the way (load wiki maps to make sure you don??t run wild). Its a real long route, considerably shorter if you can get run to at least Droknar??s Forge. If you only have Lions arch on your prophecies map and dont want to do a lengthy series of missions you WILL need to run or fight all the way to Droknars and then to Mineral Springs.

And yes im in rush because im bored to do all the missions, cause too much playing guildwars. Wtb Guildwars 2.

Yeah but it so easy just to walk with you and 5 heroes to deldrimor war camp, also nice for HOM to do sorrows furnace. And from there walk to mineral springs which seems to me a more fun route then doing that boring mission to get infused.

I've completed WiK and some bounties without an infused armor - was too lazy to infuse the obsidian set and it just looks too pretty on female mesmer to use other sets anymore.

@down: was running discordway necros with Alesia and Orion, i was the caller. Died maybe once while doing D'Alessio mission. Just outheal it and let the minions take most damage.

It's possible if you either let the heroes or other players do most of the fighting against mursaat, or if you avoid spectral agony. But it doesn't make it very practical to do seeing as when you do get hit by spectral without infusion, 30 health degen and -100 health/second are quick deaths.

Not really. You're still going to have to get a Drok's run to get to Mineral Springs (or at least 3/4 of one but I'm not sure any runner would do that).

Best option would be to just take a couple of sessions to do Sanctum Cay, the Desert (easy enough to do now with 7 Heroes, as long as you don't care about the bonuses, especially in Dunes), Ice Caves of Sorrow and Iron Mines - also the most profitable and the most fun.
